Everybody knows that keeping fast cars in check at high
speed is a tall order and that a small error, or lack of skill, on the part of
the drive can lead to disaster. What a lot of people overlook, though, is that
powerful cars are also tricky to get off the line; a fact that the
owner of this Ferrari 550 Barchetta found out the hard way.
This is especially tricky with manual cars. Too little gas
and you stall, too much gas and you spin out of control. The Ferrari driver
here falls victim to the latter. Still, he was pretty lucky that it ended up in
a mild fender bender.
He was also lucky that his Ferrari 550 Barchetta cut that
old cheap wagon somewhere nice and soft – in the hip! Damages to the parked
vehicle have reportedly been taken care of satisfactorily.
