“The Hamas did it”, was probably said in the local news as
this black-finished Ferrari 458 Italia was crashed in Israel.
We’re not going to enter a political debate but we are
ending the week with yet another car crash. In case you haven’t figured it out
yet, we’re talking about a Ferrari 458 Italia. The black-finished Italian
exotic ride was damaged in Israel recently, after it hit a Range Rover. Details
on how the crash exactly occurred are limited at this time but if you happen to
know more about the incident, please feel free to share. Judging by the two
images posted below, we can say that no one was hurt in the crash, but this is
more than we can say about the supercar.
Ferrari has been producing the 458 between 2009 and 2015 in
Maranello, Italy. This was a mid-engined sports car with a two-seat body style,
in the 458 Italia, and a two-seat roadster, the 458 Spider. Power to the model
was provided by a 4.5 liter V8 naturally aspirated engine, which was capable of
producing a total output of 562 HP (419 kW) and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft) of torque.
The unit was connected to a 7-speed dual clutch transmission, sending power to
the rear-wheel drive. The 458 has been recently replaced by the 488 GTB. This
was presented in Geneva last month and it is basically a facelift bringing some
visual enhancements and a brand new 3.9 liter twin turbo V8 engine, with 661 HP
(493 kW) and 760 Nm (561 lb-ft) of torque.
