Everyone seems to be bitching about the end of screaming engines in F1 with the death of the V8. Well, listening to this new Ferrari turbo V6, the end of the V8 might be a good thing.P

Ferrari's new Formula One car, the Ferrari F 14 T, is here, and unlike everybody else's car so far, its nose doesn't resemble human…

First of all, the V8 was never as good a wailer as the older V10s, and second of all, this turbo engine sounds a lot more musical than those naturally aspirated eights. At least this motor in Kimi's new F14T sounds more like a car engine and less like a space ship.

Hm, that might not be an improvement after all. You'll only know for sure which is better when you hear a new turbo F1 car in person. No video camera or microphone can capture how they sound or feel, ringing in your ears.
