There's no race this weekend, but that doesn't mean you have to miss out on your regular F1 fix, as Ferrari is giving you the chance to digitally tour its F1 garage.

The online experience, created with partner Shell, doesn't just offer stills from the garage, either. You can manually navigate your way around every sterilized nook and cranny of the space à la Google Street View.

 While you can click your way through the high-tech pit on your laptop or desktop, the experience only really comes into its own when viewed on a smartphone or tablet.



Making use of your portable tech's integrated accelerometer, you can explore the Ferrari F1 set-up simply by moving your device around - panning as if the screen is your eyes.

Squeeze your smartphone into a Google Cardboard VR headset and you've got the ultimate virtual F1 experience, too.

This isn't a look-but-don't-touch tour, either. For those after more detail, there are 15 pull-out zones for in-depth exploration, from the engine room and pit wall, to Shell's track-side lab and even the cockpit of Sebastian Vettel's car.
