It’s not based on any existing Ferrari chassis. James
Glickenhaus’ SCG 003 Ferrari will bepowered
by a twin-turbo W12 and will make its official debut at Geneva in
March. That chassis, by the way, is made of carbon fiber and the car itself
will weigh in at just 1,600 pounds. Glickenhaus, for anyone who doesn’t already
know, is a Ferrari-obsessed American investor and owner of the Scuderia Cameron
Glickenhaus (SCG) team.
Its previous creations were the P4/5 Pininfarina and P4/5
Competizione. We’ve already been shown a few teaser images of the SCG 003 and
now Glickenhaus and crew have started its engine for the first time. Be
thankful that they did
